Overview Full HD Video 1080p Webcam

The video quality is just ok, not great. The built-in webcams for Macs are much better. The audio quality is awful. In a pinch if it's on sale this can be a decent addition to a Windows desktop.

I bought this camera because all the reviews I read said it had around a 65 degree FOV. I was looking to replace my current camera which shows too much of my room on work calls so that FOV would work great. To my surprise, the Aukey has a much wider field and shows way more of my surroundings. It has to be at least 100 degrees wide. Back in the box it goes.

Despite description, the field of view is VERY wide - wider than my Logitech Brio at its widest. The result is when I am standing in front of it, it makes me look bent/distorted. The color and exposure of this camera are spot on, better than any of the multiple Logitech's I have tried, including the Logitech Brio, Logitech C922x, Logitech C615. Even in dark lighting. A shame about the field of view. I simply cannot use this - the wide angle warp is just no good.

For all the positive reviews, I have to say the image quality is just okay and the lens is a bit too wide angle for most use cases.
